BEST BEFORE_

Nature is not a cycle, It is an endless spiral. Landscapes cannot be reproduced. A primeval forest takes thousands of years to develop, the seabed is formed over millions of years. Once we have intervened in nature, we change its appearance forever.

Selected moments are captured in this spiral captured, researched, documented, recorded and preserved in a time capsule. We make use of phenomenological texts, hand-drawn sketches and video recordings from one perspective to get a multi-layered impression of how we perceive and document the places.

The selected places around Lake Traunsee may not be exciting at first glance, but the attention (time) that is given to them details become visible, unique artifacts are found and moods are discovered that make these places special (outstanding).
